Poseidon Ponds & Landscaping began in 2012 in Dexter, Michigan (MI). Our mission is to work with our customers and devote our time to helping them create, enhance and maintain their outdoor living spaces. We strive to provide the perfect solutions for both residential and commercial clients in landscape installation, pond and water feature installation, landscape maintenance, pond and water feature maintenance, and storm water management. We are continuing to educate ourselves in this industry so we can exceed industry standards and practices. Cory Mann
Founder & Owner
Cory Mann is the owner of Poseidon Ponds & Landscaping. He is a Dexter, Michigan native (5th generation) and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from Michigan State University. Cory started this company in 2012 but has worked in the water feature and landscape industry for over 15 years. Often times you will see Cory on-site helping out with installations or maintenance jobs. When he’s not out in the field he is in the office making sure everything that keeps the team running gets done. Cory is very passionate about his work, his clients and loves every aspect of nature. Cory is a family man and loves spending time with his wife Jill, and four children Laila, Landon, Camden and Kyler. He enjoys teaching them all about nature and playing with them in the hybrid pondless waterfall he designed that can be converted into a small pool for his children.
Erik Harbert
CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN
Erik is a Construction Foreman/Pond Builder by day and a plant enthusiast by night. Erik loves to transform plain, ordinary backyards and spaces into a paradise oasis! Erik has been with Poseidon since 2019.
Austin Sypula
MAINTENANCE FORMAN
Austin is a great Crew member! Austin went to Stevenson High School and loves spending time with his family and daughter. When he has free time, Austin loves skateboarding and going on adventures! Austin joined the team during the winter of 2020.
Jill Tanner
OFFICE MANAGER
Jill became a part of the Poseidon family in May, 2019 and is the Office Manager. Jill earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree and Master’s degree from CMU. When not working, she and her husband enjoy hanging out with their Labradoodle and Old English Sheepdog, as well as kayaking, bicycling, hiking or just being with friends. Jill also loves drawing, painting, and all things creative.
